FEES
A standard consultation is 55 minutes. Fees are payable at the time of consultation. Cash, cheque, credit card, and EFTPOS facilities are available. Please note that without a referral from a GP, Medicare does not give a rebate. However, most private medical health funds do give rebates.
MEDICARE
In order to receive a Medicare rebate, you must be referred to a psychologist by an appropriate medical practitioner (GP, psychiatrist, or paediatrician). You may then be eligible for a Medicare rebate of up to $137.05 for up to ten sessions per calendar year.
PRIVATE HEALTH COVER
Certain funds provide rebates for psychological services. As these rebates vary, based on the level of cover, it is advised that you contact your insurer for more information.
